What is RaveRobot.com?
RaveRobot.com is a website written by and for automation engineers, scientists, and enthusiast. This site provides commentary, reviews, guides, and interviews with thought leaders. We focus in the following 3 areas: Vision, People, and Technology based on Isaac Asimov’s 3 laws of robotics.
1st Law (Vision)
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2nd Law (People)
A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3rd Law (Technology)
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
Who are RaveRobot.com staff?
We are scientists with greater than 30 cumulative years of laboratory automation experience in biotechnology development labs. We build new automated capabilities and train others to do the same. Our vision is the virtual elimination of non-value added scientist time in the lab. We believe the best way to accelerate our vision is to learn from each other. Our answer to the question, “What is RaveRobot.com?”: It’s a resource for automation engineers and scientists to learn from each-other.
