What are automated bioreactors and cell culture robots?

Automated bioreactors and cell culture robots are systems that enable autonomous bioreactor experiments and the automation of cell culture activities.  These robotics systems automate everything from cell counting to fed batch cell culture and everything in between. If you work with automation in a cell culture development lab, it is pretty likely you work with automated bioreactors and cell culture liquid handler robots. There are many of them on the market. However, they can be so different from each other that it can be challenging to find them categorized together.

What are the different types of automated bioreactors and cell culture robots?

These systems can differ greatly from each other. Due to this we have included details in the descriptions. These details do not come from Rave Robot’s direct experience unless we state so. As such, they are intended to help readers delineate models and not make a statement of equivalent value. When you find a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it. As is always the case, you need to understand your workflows to choose the automated bioreactor or cell culture robot that is right for you.
